Just prepare the surface nicely and spray this on lightly and all smooth strokes, no stopping on the surface. Continue spraying off the edge. Lots of light costs and fireplace never looked better. The small canopy over my gas fire was badly marked and this Matt black paint was absolutely brilliant. I also sprayed the back and sides of the fire and all the coals. It looks like a brand new fire. I used this to repaint a garden firecube, as instructed I rubbed down to the metal and sprayed, did it indoors with extraction and mask etc. Very little overspray and good coverage. I did two coats of the paint which has given me a lovely uniform cover.

Very happy with the application, we use the firecube as an ornament rather than as a heater so I can't endorseits resistance to heat.

After application does this paint need cured - if so at what temperature?

Can the paint be used on a fire resistance board which has not been treated? Are the coloured paints also in a matt finish?

What is the coverage for the paint. Will I need more than 1 can to respray a large log burner?

Can this be used on the outside of a gas cast iron stove? I cleaned the dust off the top of it with a damp cloth and now there’s what looks like rust coloured discolouration between the base of the flue and the stove?

Can this paint be used on gas hob burners?

Can this paint be used for stove handles? Will the use of the handle cause the product to wear or flake?

Can I use this on lead?

Hi looking to refurbish my flat black landman charcoal BBQ and spray paint it with stove bright paint, what preparation would advise to do to the BBQ before I paint it?

DELIVERY TIMES - Non Custom Made Products

"In Stock" - If ordered before 1pm this will arrive Next Day if selecting a tracked delivery service or in 2 / 3 days if Royal Mail Second Class delivery is selected at checkout.

All other items will be delivered within 3 to 5 working days as they are backordered items which take a few days to receive from the manufacturers. On the rare occasion that a backordered item is out of stock at our warehouse and the manufacturers you will be e-mailed with a revised delivery date.

Delivery times are quoted in business days meaning weekends and local holidays including bank holidays, Christmas etc do not count as business days.

PACKAGING

We will always endeavour to keep your orders on time, well packed and undamaged. You can expect from us:

Items to be securely packed with bubble wrap or an air bag system.
Boxes marked clearly if items are fragile or heavy.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

Custom or made to measure items are 100% non-refundable.

If the item is not what you wanted or doesn’t quite fit you can return it back to us for a full refund, the buyer must pay for and arrange for return delivery. All we ask is that you put your full name and address on a note in the box with a brief explanation to let us know why you are returning the item.

If we supply you with a damaged/faulty item, the item is not as described, or if it has been miss-sold we will pay for the return delivery and issue a full refund.

Goods that are returned back to us are the customer's responsibility. If goods are returned to us and are damaged it is your responsibility to claim the cost back from the courier. Please ensure goods are well packed when returning them back to us to prevent any complications.
