Bought this to replace a "regular" round coal bucket - I have limited space and this fits perfectly & is a much better fit. Holds a decent amount of coal and the shape makes it much easier to load the fire. One unexpected advantage - the round bucket filled up with coal dust & micro bits - because you can "pour" the coal into the fire, these bits don't accumulate as much...

Brilliant
I now have 2 of these, they hold approximately 12 kg of coal between them. They are well made and because of the shape they are easy to fill and to empty into the fire, they also sit next to each other on the hearth taking up about the same space as a traditional round shaped one. Pure brilliance.

Very useful replacement for our previous worn out one. The rectangular shape is much easier to use with our stove, compared with the circular type. Fair price, prompt delivery.

Looks great but seems to be more suitable for decoration than use. Filled up with coal and when held by the bottom handle to empty coal into fire the handle bends out of shape. Due to the construction which seems to be folded metal there is two very small holes at the bottom which coal dust can drop through which I have blocked up with a bit of tape. Time will tell if it's going to last some serious use

Received in very poor packaging which was supposed to include coal tongs but these were missing, presumably due to the rough handling and poor packaging. I phoned customer services Friday pm and they said they would ring back - still waitng at Saturday evening. I am not impressed - other suppliers would have replaced the missing items without delay.
