READ THIS BEFORE ORDERING

- If you want an inside return and an outside return on your trim - adding an outside return will reduce how far the inside return goes into the wall cavity. As an example, if the outside return is 20mm and you want 50mm of the inside return to go into the wall cavity you will require an inside return of (50mm + 20mm) = 70mm. The minimum inside return size is 10mm

- If measuring internal width and internal height of an old trim - make sure to measure from the front of the old trim. If you measure from the back of the trim you may include the thickness of the metal which would add approximately another 4mm onto the height and 8mm onto the width resulting in the final trim not fitting.

- When we refer to INTERNAL TRIM WIDTH and INTERNAL TRIM HEIGHT measurements - We are always referring to the internal measurements of the trim (measured from the front)

External trim measurements would be calculated by using the following formulas.

External Trim Width = Internal Trim Width + Face + Face

External Trim Height = Internal Trim Height + Face

- When we refer to WALL OPENING WIDTH and WALL OPENING HEIGHT measurements - We are always referring to the size of the hole in your wall. When you provide us this measurement we will make the trim very slightly smaller (but a snug fit).

To ensure your trim fits into the wall opening we have to make allowances. Internal trim measurements (measured from the front of the trim) would be calculated by using the following formulas.

Internal Trim Width = Wall Opening Width - 8mm (thickness of the material on the inside return either side) - 4mm (allowance for manufacturing tolerance)

Internal Trim Height = Wall Opening Height - 4mm (thickness of the material on the inside return) - 4mm (allowance for manufacturing tolerance)

How do you attach the fireplace trim to the wall?

Can you please confirm your trims are suitable for a surround around a multi fuel stove?

"In Stock" - If ordered before 1pm this will arrive Next Day if selecting a tracked delivery service or in 2 / 3 days if Royal Mail Second Class delivery is selected at checkout.

All other items will be delivered within 3 to 5 working days as they are backordered items which take a few days to receive from the manufacturers. On the rare occasion that a backordered item is out of stock at our warehouse and the manufacturers you will be e-mailed with a revised delivery date.

Delivery times are quoted in business days meaning weekends and local holidays including bank holidays, Christmas etc do not count as business days.

What we charge for delivery is what it costs us for the delivery of the orders to you. We operate a 1 delivery charge policy so you will only ever pay 1 delivery charge (The largest delivery charge will be used).

We will always endeavour to keep your orders on time, well packed and undamaged. You can expect from us:

Items to be securely packed with bubble wrap or an air bag system.
Boxes marked clearly if items are fragile or heavy.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

Custom or made to measure items are 100% non-refundable.

If the item is not what you wanted or doesn’t quite fit you can return it back to us for a full refund, the buyer must pay for and arrange for return delivery. All we ask is that you put your full name and address on a note in the box with a brief explanation to let us know why you are returning the item.

If we supply you with a damaged/faulty item, the item is not as described, or if it has been miss-sold we will pay for the return delivery and issue a full refund.

For more details on your rights as a buyer see ‘The consumer contracts regulations'.

Goods that are returned back to us are the customer's responsibility. If goods are returned to us and are damaged it is your responsibility to claim the cost back from the courier. Please ensure goods are well packed when returning them back to us to prevent any complications.

If sending goods by post please ensure you use a postal service that requires a signature. Fuels are non-refundable due to the high costs for return delivery.

RETURNS

Products can be returned back to us within 30 working days providing they are unused and in their original condition. We may accept returns longer than this on a case by case basis, please contact us to request this.

To return an order ensure the products are well packed and include a note in the box with your name and postcode. To book a courier we would recommend a courier broker such as www.interparcel.com.

We removed our old back-boiler and gas fire, and wanted to replace with a smaller electric fire whilst keeping existing (larger) marble fire surround. The 'Custom Size Fire Trim' was the perfect solution to fill the edge gaps around our new fire.

After placing our order, I noticed the manufacturing process has a note that measurements will be within a tolerance of plus/minus 3mm. I was a little concerned as we needed our internal height of the frame to very precise. I called GFA and the customer service was spot on: friendly, understanding and most helpful. Even going as far as to send a request to manufacturing to try and be as accurate as possible for the internal height.

The Fire Trim arrived to us on time, and very well protected/packaged and was a perfect fit. We were expecting the black trim it to be a little more of a rough matt finish (kind of like cast iron), but rather it has a smooth finish to it. This was no problem as it is high quality material and looks perfect once in place. Very pleased.

This is a really top quality fire surround and looks fantastic around our wood burning stove. We bought a custom size fire surround and it is an absolutely perfect fit. GFA were very helpful on the phone and the instructions for measuring up on their website were very useful. Product arrived in less than two weeks.

We couldn't find a replacement trim for our fireplace so made to measure was the only alternative. Fortunately we measured up correctly. It feels a bit flimsy and for what we paid I'm not sure it's great value. However, it looks fine in situ.

DELIVERY COSTS

What we charge for delivery is what it costs us for the delivery of the orders to you. We operate a 1 delivery charge policy so you will only ever pay 1 delivery charge (The largest delivery charge will be used).

PACKAGING

We will always endeavour to keep your orders on time, well packed and undamaged. You can expect from us:

Items to be securely packed with bubble wrap or an air bag system.

Boxes marked clearly if items are fragile or heavy.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

If we supply you with a damaged/faulty item, the item is not as described, or if it has been miss-sold we will pay for the return delivery and issue a full refund.

For more details on your rights as a buyer see ‘The consumer contracts regulations'.

Goods that are returned back to us are the customer's responsibility. If goods are returned to us and are damaged it is your responsibility to claim the cost back from the courier. Please ensure goods are well packed when returning them back to us to prevent any complications.

If sending goods by post please ensure you use a postal service that requires a signature. Fuels are non-refundable due to the high costs for return delivery.
