Finding an an ashpan to replace a rusted original that was falling apart and over 40 years old was proving impossible. The required dimensions were just unavailable. Whilst searching the internet I discovered Grate Fireplace Accessories Limited could supply made to measure ashpans. The instructions for supplying measurements on the website were clear and easy to understand and my subsequent order has now arrived and fits perfectly. It took about 4 weeks to fulfill the order which wasn’t a problem because I placed the order well in advance of needing it, but it’s worth bearing in mind that this type of product is not off the shelf and needs to be individually fabricated. It was also pleasing that my enquiries regarding progress of the order were responded to promptly.
I can certainly recommend this company if you need a a made to measure ashpan.

Fantastic service
Firstly customer services contacted me to check the measurements I had provided since they felt they seemed odd. They were right - I had written one of the measurements incorrectly and saved me wasting my money. Secondly once my perfect ashpan had been made someone noticed that I had said I would collect it- from London and called me to check. Customer service was above and beyond and the resultant product perfect . I can’t recommend them highly enough .
